BEHIND THE SCENES.

As the filming process is now almost immediately available, and there is not so much a secret as there is a preview about what you will see, we sometimes need to remember a time when you had absolutely no idea how a film was made, and how it was shot.
The dozens, sometimes hundreds of people involved, the technical glitches, the experiences on set, even what the actors ate before each scene.
That mistery is part of what makes Cinema special: you need to see it to believe it.
So here’s a glimpse of what made Before the Moonrise so special as a project, and as a kaleisdocopic memory which Leonor Patrocínio captured so beautifully.
And yes, all actors and actresseses ate cake.
That part Leonor made sure was caught off camera.
