🎉 44 and soaking in it

I built this moment for myself. Bubbles overflowing. Champagne in hand. Cake balanced like a crown offering. Confetti claiming my shoulders like medals of pleasure.

Because I am no longer apologizing for the parts of me that enjoy beauty that makes zero sense.
 The theatrical. The decadent. The “why not?” of it all.

I am the man who takes his birthday in a bathtub and turns it into a scene.

Cheers to the version of me that refuses to shrink.
 To the one who celebrates life in full flavor.
 Who says yes to imagination and luxury even when the room tilts and laughs.

There are dinners that feel like small films 🎥

Soft light good wine my mother’s laughter, Graham’s stories and food that kept getting better with every bite

What we had:

🍷 Veal cheek croquettes with Parmesan
🍝 Scallop “ravioli” with bone marrow and chervil
🦐 Wild tiger prawn bitoque with fries and fried egg
🥩 Entrecôte with oven baked rice
🍄 Chanterelles with duck ham and cream sauce
🍋 Lemon meringue tart

First time in Gerês ⛰️🌲

I discovered what it means to be completely immersed in raw, untamed nature : granite peaks, emerald waters, air so pure it almost startles you.

Since then, I’ve made it a ritual: every lake I find, I dive in.

Cold, clear, and alive….just like this place.
