Estamos muito felizes por ver o CCA retratado num longo perfil no Bandcamp Daily, que percorre mais de uma década de edições, concertos, colaborações e tudo aquilo que foi crescendo à volta da editora.

For more than two decades, Romain Perrot, better known as Vomir, has occupied one of the most uncompromising corners of experimental music, establishing himself as the defining figure of harsh noise wall, pursuing a singular vision where maximal saturation becomes a space for deep contemplation.

Minimal yet overwhelming, his performances are built from immense, static walls of sound that seem to erase time itself. What initially feels impenetrable gradually reveals an almost meditative intensity, where volume, texture and duration become the work's true vocabulary.

Some know him through internet folklore: the performer hidden beneath a plastic bag, standing motionless in front of an audience while unleashing an endless torrent of noise. Behind the mythology lies one of the most influential artists in contemporary noise, whose label Decimation Sociale, countless collaborations and relentless output have helped to shape an entire community.

Legendary, confrontational and surprisingly elegant in its conceptual rigor, a Vomir performance is less a concert than an encounter with the outer limits of listening. Bringing one of the defining figures of contemporary noise to Lisbon is a true honour for us. See you friday night at ZDB.

On Korean Love Sonnets, bela strips music back to its most exposed element: the voice. Whispering, growling, screaming and breathing through layers of electronic processing, they blur the line between human and machine, tenderness and violence, beauty and unease.

Drawing from memories of working night shifts in a Seoul karaoke bar, bela turns the voice into both subject and instrument, questioning received ideas of beauty, intimacy and identity, asking what a love song might sound like once convention is stripped away.

Originally from Paju, South Korea, and based between Berlin and Prague, bela's practice draws from Korean pungmul, experimental electronics, performance art and extreme metal vocal techniques. Their uncompromising live performances have taken them to Berghain, CTM, Unsound, Rewire, Café OTO, Le Guess Who? and beyond.

A rare opportunity to experience one of the most compelling artists in contemporary experimental music.

Nos próximos meses, artistas de diferentes geografias e abordagens vão ao Funchal apresentar o seu trabalho, começando em julho com Marie Dior.
