A popular Port Harcourt influencer, Odeyemi Michael, has di£d due to alleged medical negligence.

It was gathered that he had an asthma att@ck on Monday evening, November 28, and was rushed to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) in Rivers State.

However, on getting to the hospital, the nurses on duty allegedly demanded for a means of identification before they could attend to him.

They also allegedly refused to admit him or perform CPR on him because ‘they couldn’t find a pulse.’

He was said to have passed on while his mom and friends were performing CPR on him.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Finalize Divorce, Kim Gets $200k Child Support

The SKIMS founder, 42, and the rapper, 45, have finalized their divorce, with the exes coming to an agreement about child custody and property.

According to divorce documents obtained by TMZ, the former couple will have joint physical and legal custody of their four children: North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

Kanye West will be required to pay Kardashian $200,000 a month in child support. He will also be responsible for half of the children's medical, educational, and security expenses.

He also relinquished the $4.5m home he bought across from Kim's house last year after Kim filed for divorce, saying he bought the house in other to be close to his children. Kim will be responsible for all expenses related to the 5-bedroom home.

The settlement also states that he gets to keep his $60m Malibu home, two ranches in Wyoming, 300 acres in Calabasas, a home in Belgium and his childhood home which he bought in Chicago.

Both Kardashian and West waived spousal support.

The pair also agreed to settle disputes regarding the children by participating in mediation. However, if either party fails to take part, the other is allowed to make the decision in a dispute by default.

The couple's assets, including their property, will be divided based upon their prenup.

The divorce finalization comes nine months after Kardashian was ruled legally single during a bifurcation hearing.

West had previously challenged Kardashian's request to be declared legally single, but said in a statement at the time that, "I've asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention to our beautiful children."

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021, citing irreconcilable differences after nearly seven years of marriage. The couple was married in a lavish wedding in Italy in 2014.

IGP Usman Baba Sentenced To Three Months In Prison

The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has been sentenced to three months in prison by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

The court presided over by Justice M. O. Olajuwon gave the sentence on Tuesday, November 29, after Baba was found guilty of disobeying a valid court order.

Vanguard reports that the court held that the IGP should be committed to prison and detained in custody for a period of three months, or until he obeys an order it made since October 21, 2011.

“If at the end of the three months, the contemnor remains recalcitrant and still refuses to purge his contempt, he shall be committed for another period and until he purges his contempt”, the court held.

The IGP’s committal followed a suit that was filed by a police officer, Mr. Patrick Okoli, who was unlawfully and compulsorily retired from the Nigerian Police Force.

Justice Olajuwon noted that though the Police Service Commission, PSC, recommended Okoli’s reinstatement into the Police, a decision that was affirmed by the court, the IGP, refused to comply with the order.

The court had also ordered the payment of N10million to the Applicant, being special and general d@mages for the unlawful, illegal and unconstitutional denial of his rights and privileges as a Senior Officer of the Nigeria Police Force from 1993 till date.

Adeleke sacks 12,000 workers, dethrones three monarchs

Osun Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has sacked 12,000 workers and ordered the dethronement of three monarchs barely 24 hours after his inauguration.

The Governor also nullified the appointment of 30 Permanent Secretaries and suspended the chairman and members of
Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC).

The affected monarchs include Akinrun of Ikinrun Oba Yinusa Akadiri; Aree of Ire Oba Ademola Oluponle and Owa of Igbajo, Oba Gboyega Famodun. He ordered the monarch to vacate the palace, asking security operatives to take over.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Adeleke, Olawale Rasheed on Monday stated that the new Governor signed the Executives orders which covered chieftaincy matters, appointments issues, setting up of review panel, staff audit and employment matters.”
