Robots cannot survive in Nigeria.

Not because of power supply or bad roads, but because of Iron Condemn Boys.
These guys can smell iron from 5 streets away.

Imagine importing a ₦50 million robot and forgetting it outside by morning, it will be leaning on one stick, greeting you like:
"Oga, na only plastic remain for my body now".

In Banana Island, your robot can stroll freely.
In Mushin, Oshodi, or Agege, your robot’s titanium leg will be sold for ₦2,500 at the scrap yard before you say AI.

Before we start importing robots, let us first defeat the real enemy… Iron Condemn Association of Nigeria 🤣

Title: The Drum That Refused to Echo Lies

In the village of Owerre, drums spoke louder than words. Every event—birth, death, war, marriage—was announced through a beat. And the greatest of these drums was called Uduka. Tall, carved from iroko wood, its voice could reach the ears of distant forests and sleeping hills.

No one knew exactly how old it was. But elders said it once refused to sound during a war started on a lie. Since then, Uduka had only responded to the truth.

The drum had a keeper, a boy named Tobe, just thirteen, but with eyes that saw things others missed. His father had died years back, leaving the sacred duty of Uduka to him.

One harmattan morning, the air full of red dust and cold silence, something strange happened.

Chief Oba, the ruler of Owerre, called a gathering. He said some villagers had plotted to poison his food. He named three people: Mama Ezechi, a widow who sold herbs, Ogbuefi Nnamdi, a farmer, and D**e, a young hunter.

They all denied it.

The chief, red-faced and trembling with anger, ordered Tobe to sound Uduka and announce their shame.

But when Tobe struck the drum, it stayed silent.

He hit again.

Nothing.

The crowd murmured.

The chief growled.

Tobe stood in fear, sweat dripping down his spine. He whispered to the drum. Begged it to speak.

Still, it was quiet.

That night, Tobe wept. He was afraid the chief would punish him. But in his dreams, a voice came—low and steady like rain on a thatched roof.

“Do not beat a lie into the wind. What is not true cannot echo.”

The next day, Chief Oba sent guards to seize the accused.

But as they dragged them to the village square, a child came running.

She had overheard the palace cook confess.

The real poisoner was the chief’s own nephew, hoping to take his seat.

The lie unraveled like dry raffia.

The people were stunned.

And when Tobe was asked to strike the drum again, he tapped it gently.

Boom.

Uduka answered.

From that day, Uduka became more than a drum. It was the soul of Owerre.

Whenever someone lied in the village, Tobe would touch the drum. If it stayed quiet, the village knew to look deeper.

They called it the Drum of Conscience.

And they called Tobe the Boy Who Guarded the Truth.

Moral Lessons:
1. Truth has a sound and lies cannot echo it.
2. Silence can be a powerful way of protecting the innocent.
3. Even a child can guard a community with courage and honesty.

*I Was Just Hungry*

*— A Cry from The Traps Of Life 😥*

Yesterday, here on Facebook, a brother shared this heartbreaking image of a little mouse caught in a trap.

Its tiny eyes were swollen with tears.

Its paw was crushed. Blood stained the wooden floor beneath it. Yet, what caught my heart wasn’t the pain or the blood—but the words written beside it:

"I’m not a dangerous animal and I won’t hurt you. I was just hungry." 😥😥

It took me back—way back to my early years in Alagbado , Lagos State.

There was a young boy in our compound named Chima. He was always dirty, always sneaking into kitchens when no one was looking.

At least once a week, someone would shout, “That Chima don carry my garri again oh!”

I remember how we mocked him. Called him “thief.”

Some adults would beat him up. One woman even tied him to a tree once, under the hot sun, for taking a piece of fried fish.

But what we didn’t know—what we never even asked—was that Chima was just hungry.

His mother had died when he was six. His father, a drunk, barely returned home with enough money to buy a sachet of pure water. Most nights, Chima and his younger sister slept on empty stomachs.

So, he learned to steal to survive. He learned to beg, to sneak, to be smart.

And while the world saw a thief, what he truly was… was a boy in pain.

Now, years later, I see this mouse crying in a trap and I see Chima’s face.

I see the countless boys and girls in our streets.

I see the bus conductors who shout angrily—not because they enjoy it, but because life has never been kind.

I see the prostitutes in Allen Avenue , the young cult boys in Agege,

The jobless graduates walking the streets of Lagos and Abuja,

The countless prisoners in cells not because they’re wicked—but because they were just hungry.. 😥

Hunger isn’t always about food.

Some people are hungry for love.
Some are hungry for peace.
Some are hungry for hope.
Some are just hungry to be noticed—to be seen as human.

But what does society do?

TRUE LIFE STORY
A guy I met on Facebook added something to my drink on our first meeting.

I think It's time to share my experience so nobody falls victim again.

Ladies, you need to be careful.

This guy was very active on my wall, commenting on anything that concerns me. I loved his vibes.

On his birthday, he wished I hang out with him even if it was for 30mins. Because I don't like meeting people, especially online, that decision was very hard for me. After several thoughts, I accepted because it was his birthday lemme make it beautiful for him at least.

I told him not to pick me, I will find my way. I arrived at the restaurant, One thing I do each time I arrive at a place is to observe my environment very well.

I could recognize him quickly because he looked exactly like the person on his DP. Another guy was seating on the driver's side discussing with him.

So I dial his number, he came out of the car and saw me. So we entered the restaurant, I gave him the present I got for him.

He offered me a lot which I declined. I hardly take things on a date, hang out, or meet except we are close enough in real life.

I noticed his unhappy face because I declined all he offered, I felt for him. So I decided to take a bottle of coke. he ordered something for himself.

While he was eating, the waitress over the counter called his attention and dropped the bill note containing the transfer account details. I looked around, there was no other waiter in sight, so I got up to pick up the note.

I came back to my seat and noticed my drink bubbling. You know how it is to drop something inside a carbonated drink. So he quickly requested the bill note to do the transfer, a means to divert my attention.

I relaxed as if nothing happened, I started bringing on topics for discussion so I can take a little time before I leave...

He noticed that I wasn't taking the drink anymore, he urged me to take the drink so he can order more. I told him I was satisfied already. He persisted but I told him I was badly belching already. I told him never to worry, that I will pay for the drink.

So I brought out my phone and faked a distress call. After pretending on the phone for up to 5 minutes. I told him that I will have to go and that the people I left before coming are on my neck.

I begged him to permit me. He told me that he didn't like what I did to the drink he offered me, he can only be happy if I finish up the drink.

I took the coke, covered it, and told him that I will finish it at home. I patted his back, still, he was protesting.

He escorted me out. He told me to join them so they can drop me off. Thanks to God, a bike Just dropped somebody. I mounted on the bike.

While the bike man was driving out, he moved to the car where the other guy was waiting and was telling him something.

When I got to my place, I went to the messenger to thank him for the drink. I could no longer see his account. Everything was white. I called the number he gave me, but it was no longer going.
Up till today, that number never connected again.

You need to be careful with all this “when am I seeing you, I'll like to meet you..” most of them are not genuine. No matter how close you are with anybody here online, please be careful.
They can do anything to have you!.

It's true that 99% of people following me here, do not know me. They have never met me before but I so much value them. I appreciate these friends of mine on this space.

One needs to be extra careful
Friendship and love is now a trap
God help us 🙏
