The sunset Sagres walk...

straight out of Sony A7CII, using my £50, 50mm cannon lens,

these passion projects usually don't make it out of my camera and hard drives,

but this town had a profound effect,

from the people, to events, to my favourite gelato shop,

to surfing, running, biking, or just floating....

feeling like home, quickly connecting with the people, places and lifestyle,

it's peculiar this all happened in 3 weeks...

a slower pace in life, yet went by so fast, like it was yesterday,

my perspective on life has shifted,

looking at the bigger picture more clearly,

feeling more clarity, yet losing some detail.

the suns rise and fall, the moons cycle, reflected in the ocean, every single day blown into the wind,

I felt more alive and connected to mother earth than anywhere I've ever been.

in 3 weeks I trusted and was trusted, made friends for life, yet also experienced many surface level connections, a true mix of diversity...

this is Sagres, the town that became small too fast, the one that surprises you, the one that you fall into without knowing, finding it hard to leave...
