The Radio Plastique team would like to say thank you for all the support over the past four years. Without you and your contributions we would not have been able to keep the station alive and bring you all the great alternative and indie music you have heard on the station.

Unfortunately, all great things often come to an end and sadly we were unable to raise the funds over the past year to meet our goal so the station will be closing as of February 1st. To those who have donated over the past year, those funds will be used to cover the expenses from the previous year which we had to supplement from our personal accounts to continue into 2025.

In many ways it’s amazing this small operation has been able to keep chugging along for nearly 4 years. We are grateful to our listeners and the folks that have helped us continue to do what we absolutely love, which is keeping classic alternative music alive as well as bringing you some of the best new indie artists from around the globe. We understand there are a multitude of asks from many organizations near and dear to your heart this time of the year, but we would like to ask you to consider a donation to help keep us on the air for an amazing 5th year!
Currently we are nearly $1,000 short of what it would cost us to keep Radio Plastique on the air. Music licensing fees, the website hosting service, and app upkeep are all part of our operating costs. We are thankful to receive a lot of great new music through promotional companies and artist submissions, but much of the new music we update you with every Friday is purchased on Bandcamp straight from the artists, which adds additional costs to the yearly budget.
