SLOW-PACED THINGS TO DO IN MALAGA 🇪🇸✨🚶‍♀️
💫Ease into Málaga with a slower rhythm and let the city reveal itself gently.

💫Begin at the Fundación Unicaja (entrance is only €3), where exhibitions and cultural spaces invite you to linger and take things in without rushing. It’s a calm, thoughtful start to the day.

💫Make your way to the iconic Málaga Cathedral. Spend time noticing the details—the light filtering in, the architecture, the quiet atmosphere. It’s a place that rewards stillness. A small tip, free entrance exists:
* Monday–Saturday: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
* Sunday: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM

💫From there, simply wander. The historic center is full of narrow, cobblestone streets that feel made for slow exploration. Let yourself drift with no strict plan—pause at little shops, shaded corners, or sunlit plazas.

💫When you’re ready, settle into a café and enjoy a creamy slice of Basque cheesecake paired with a good coffee. It’s one of those small but memorable moments that define a relaxed day here.

💫Let the rest of your time unfold naturally—maybe sit in a plaza, people-watch, or write a few thoughts as the city moves around you.

Waking up in Málaga ❤️🇪🇸

✨Starting my day with local pastries and coffee is my little ritual here. Visiting Casa Natal de Picasso adds a meaningful cultural layer to my journey. It’s fascinating to see how Pablo Picasso’s early environment and relationship with his father might have shaped his creative instincts—especially being surrounded by Málaga’s light and color.

✨Then, I am heading to the Alcazaba, with its architecture reflecting the legacy of Al-Andalus, with those intricate arches, courtyards, and elevated views over the city and port. It’s one of the best-preserved fortresses of its kind in Spain.

✨Next in my trip: Castillo de Gillbralfaro and its 20-30min paved uphill paths 😅 On reviews, it says it’s moderate.
