⚡ SQUEALER – The Legendary French Heavy Metal Complete Discography

In yet another triumphant chapter of the Portuguese–French Metal Connection, Lost Realm Records is thrilled to announce, in partnership with Under-Siege Records, the long-awaited official reissue of the complete discography of one of France’s most iconic heavy metal acts: SQUEALER!

Formed in 1980 in the coastal city of Nantes, SQUEALER quickly became a defining force in the explosive French heavy metal scene of the 1980s. Active until their initial breakup in 1992, the band released a series of essential recordings that helped shape the Gallic response to the vibrant British and German metal movements. Defying the trend of most French bands singing in their native language, SQUEALER boldly chose to write in English from day one — a decision that broadened their international reach and set them apart in a scene largely dominated by francophone acts.

Their studio discography includes the rare 7" EP Shame (1984), their debut studio album D.F.R. (1987), the sophomore Squealer’s Mark (1989), and their third studio attack This Is What the World Is All About! (1992).

In 2026, all three studio albums will return in deluxe CD and vinyl editions, fully remastered and expanded with previously unreleased bonus tracks. Each release will feature detailed liner notes and rare band photographs, honoring and preserving the band’s classic identity. This is more than a reissue series — it is the resurrection of a cornerstone of French heavy metal history. SQUEALER deserves to stand alongside the greats, and these editions will finally give their legacy the presentation it has always deserved.

From the peak of their classic full-length album Liars, Killers And Master Thieves (1991) to every unreleased sonic riff in between, Living On The Edge - The Demos revives these forgotten Chicago metal heroes in all their unfiltered glory. This legendary venue offers perfect conditions for our traditional Heavy Metal celebration –
a massive hall with almost 4000 capacity, top sound, excellent stage visibility, easy access directly at the Autobahn A3, and plenty of parking, hotels, retaurants and camping options right around the corner. Our annual April edition will stay in Lauda-Königshofen of course.

We are so happy, that with SAVATAGE we could finally book one of the biggest and most important bands of our genre. Its such a huge achievement in the history of Keep It True, even more as all the other bands already booked are as legendary. Please support us on this new adventure, we always try to deliver the best possible quality for all you loyal fans.

Since the Savatage day is a Sunday, the show will end on 11pm already that day so people can either decide to take off the Monday instead of the Friday or just drive home after the headliner.
