Hoje estamos de volta à nave mãe em noite de celebração do Rui Vargas pela sua carreira na Rádio sempre no lado certo da força.
São 18 anos de serviço público com MPC na Ant3na e outros tantos mais na Voxx e Oxigénio onde foi divulgando toda a música que interessa, com especial atenção às produções nacionais de todos os estilos e latitudes onde nunca faltou apoio ao que fazemos na OITO//OITO. Obrigado também pro isso!
Nesta noite longa e no meio de tanto talento e amigos cabe-nos as honras e responsabilidade de fechar a noite cá em cima ao nascer do dia.

Hoje estamos de volta ao Porto e desta vez muito bem acompanhados pelo nosso amigo Nuno Lopes que foi parceiro no novo Ep Mind Body Soul que saiu ontem e apresentamos esta noite no Plano B na sala Cubo. Dia 01 Novembro no Lux repetimos a dose.

Our New Ep MIND BODY SOUL is Out Today!

OITO//OITO return with a new two-track single on their self-titled imprint, OITO//OITO Discos — this time joined by acclaimed DJ and internationally recognized actor Nuno Lopes.

“Mind Body Soul” blends hypnotic grooves with timeless house sensibilities, elevated by Nuno Lopes’ unmistakable deep vocal presence. A future classic in the making, the track taps into the genre’s spiritual roots — a homage to the enduring mantra of house: unity of mind, body, and soul.

Flipping to the B-side, “GR8” (read: great) delivers a stripped-back, floor-ready cut packed with house staples — a rolling bassline, sharp piano stabs, and a dose of squelchy 303 acid. It’s a track that honors the foundations of house music while injecting it with a fresh, contemporary twist.

With this release, OITO//OITO continue to blur the lines between classic homage and forward-thinking production, offering a dual statement of intent for dancefloors worldwide.

Still buzzin here !
It’s was a pleasure and big responsibility to be invited by LUX to curate last Thursday 26th of June.
Taking over the Terrace and the Bar on that evening, surrounded by talented friends: Ultra Flava (Humberto & Afonso) and Manuel Zeeman.

When Lux asked us to curate this date we couldn’t say no. Starting in the terrace watching the sun go down, we invited Humberto aka Social Disco Club and his long time friend Pedro Afonso, know as Ultra Flava in duo format. And then we step down to the bar, starting with Manuel Zeeman, an old time friend and equally amazing DJ. We have the opening and closing duties for this very promising day. Come early, entry is free.
