For Foodies Only!
One of my favorite parts of visiting Japan was experiencing its incredible food culture. From world-famous Kobe beef and interactive shabu shabu hot pots to sushi-making classes where I learned to make yellowtail sushi and a Bento box class where I learned to make tamago (Japanese omelette), every meal told a story.
A few favorites? Strawberry daifuku mochi, crispy Osaka gyoza, chewy mochi doughnuts, comforting chicken ramen, and even a delicious crème brûlée from 7-Eleven!
And yes—the ice cream in Japan absolutely lived up to the hype, whether it was a simple vanilla cone or cherry ice cream tucked inside fresh melon bread.
In my next newsletter I will be going through the top 10 foods I ate in Japan through all 3 cities of Tokyo, Osaka & Kyoto! You don’t want to miss it!
