Our goal is to reshape the electronic music scene by bringing sounds of the diaspora and rhythms of the global south to the forefront, inspired by the distinct blend of cultures, sights and sounds that make our hometown of Lisbon so unique.

London is in Enchufada's DNA.

The electronic sounds coming out of the UK were a big part of the puzzle we started building 20 years ago, and we've always felt at home in the Big Smoke. From Buraka's early days, through canonical clubs like XOYO and Scala and others long since closed, from residencies at Jazz Café to a FabricLive compilation and an NTS radio show. It's part of our history, and we'd like to think we've left a small mark on London's clubbing scene. Seems only fitting to celebrate our anniversary there too.

Good morning. It’s Bandcamp Friday and we’ve just added two new t-shirts to the store!

The A Lisbon Club Story t-shirt celebrates 20 years of Enchufada and the new compilation, featuring a multicoloured print based on the original artwork by António Jorge Gonçalves, adapted by Daniel Neves. The E Logo tee is a restock of an Enchufada classic, back by demand.

We're 20 today!

And, of course, A Lisbon Club Story is out now. This compilation is a labour of love, chronicling our two-decade journey, rounded out with new music that keeps an eye on what's ahead. There's really no better birthday gift than giving it a listen.

To every artist and collaborator who's been part of this story, and to everyone who ever moved to our music: a very special thank you. Enchufada never had a grand manifesto, just a belief that some of the most vital electronic music was being made in the world's peripheries. It was your packed, sweaty dancefloors that proved us right.

You are Enchufada. Here's to another 20.
