In 2006, when it all began, Baxta's talent caught the attention of the renowned Polish club culture magazine Laif, where his work received recognition, notably for his track "Trancephorma – Lost," featured on the Muzyczny Hydepark compilation album. Throughout his career, he has garnered support from industry stalwarts like Tom Novy, Miika Kuisma, Mark Sherry and Dj Preach. His label, Take One Records has showcased tracks and remixes from emerging talents like Milkwish, Dave Schiemann, Man of Bamboo, and Livedub. He shared the stage with renowned artists such as Mr Sam, Corvin Dalek, E-Craig, Tok Tok, Carla Roca, Poziom X, NeeVald, and many others. Among his notable production achievements, Baxta's remix of System F – Dance Valley 2001 gained recognition on the 2010 remix compilation released by Ferry Corsten's Premier label. Additionally, his chill-out remix of Man of Bamboo – Time Traveller featured on the Kontor label compilation "Tom Novy – Chillin’ at Ibiza Hotel Vol. 2." Although the past decade has seen Baxta delving into media creation and venturing into the film industry, his passion for music remains unwavering. Soooo... I have been playing around with an idea - performing my own tracks, not just djing. Got an Akai Force last week and have been prepping a set, getting my already released tracks into Force, making tracks with the Force... and it's so much fun!

I decided to record some of this process, and I actually like it so much I thought I would share it with you.

Got quite a bit of work editing videos today, so I decided I needed a soundtrack. Northern Exposure is probably still one of my go to compilations whenever I need inspiration or simply want to unwind and forget about the mess going on outside. I mean, when did that come out? Twenty five years ago or so, not sure really, but it was a long time ago - I only just started dabbing into electronic music? And its still such a banging double CD. Still influencing generations of prog music lovers and in many ways, still sounds fresh. John Digweed and Sasha did a fantastic job here.

Well, anyway, back to work. Adios!

I started working on Midnight Roads over a year ago and changed direction more times than I can remember. After one final round of refinement, it became the track I'm genuinely proud of. The title came from the idea that we all take different roads in life, and at the beginning they're often the darkest. That thought stayed with me throughout the whole process. I'm really happy to see it released on Addictive Sounds, a label I've admired for years. If you enjoy hypnotic progressive house with a driving groove, evolving melodies and a touch of breakbeat along the way, I hope you enjoy the journey.
