I booked this a few weeks ago, and at the time I wasn’t even really sure why. Turns out, the timing couldn’t have been better.

After a crazy summer and just before another really busy chapter with work, I think I needed a day that was completely for me. A day to stop, breathe, let go of some of the things I don’t want to carry anymore, and make a bit of space for what comes next.

And that’s exactly what today was. 🌼

Such a beautiful group of people, in the most gorgeous setting. Armani’s meditation took me somewhere else entirely today. I came away feeling completely exhausted, but in the best possible way. Like something had actually shifted.

Thank you Armani for the thought, energy and effort you put into creating today and for giving us such a beautiful, safe space to just be.

Sometimes you book something without really knowing why, and then the day arrives and you realise it was exactly what you needed. ✨

Such a lovely afternoon catching up with my gorgeous friend Ash, who’s finally back after being away all summer. ❤️

We had lunch at Bottega Cucina in Almancil and, if you haven’t been, it’s definitely one to try. The food is beautiful, everything is homemade and the lovely Gabriel looked after us so well and chose our wine, which was very much appreciated. 🍷

They’ve also done the terrace out the back with proper shading and air con now, which makes such a difference while it’s still so hot.

Mostly though, it was just so nice to catch up properly, talk about life, our businesses, and some ideas we’ve got for things we might do together over the next few months.

We finished the afternoon at another very beautiful venue, but more on that tomorrow… 👀

Follow along because we’ve got a few things up our sleeves. ❤️

Another week in the Algarve and there’s loads going on .

We’ve rounded up a few of our picks for the week ahead, especially if you’ve got kids and are wondering what to do with them!

And a BIG shout out to Oktoberfest at VILA VITA Biergarten, which kicks off next week. 🍻🥨🇩🇪

VILA VITA Parc are one of our very special Founding Partners at Algarve Family Guide, so of course we had to give this one a little extra love. Oktoberfest is always such a brilliant event, with proper Bavarian food, live music and a really good atmosphere. Definitely one to get in the diary.

Swipe through, save this for later and send it to whoever you’re making plans with.

🏰 One last night in medieval Castro Marim…

For a few magical days each August, the historic streets of Castro Marim step back in time for Dias Medievais — one of the Algarve’s most spectacular annual events.

The castle, cobbled streets and historic surroundings come alive with medieval markets, street performers, music, processions, knights, traditional food and an incredible atmosphere.

And tonight is the final night. ✨

So if you haven’t made it yet, this is your last chance to experience Castro Marim in full medieval mode before the gates close on another year.

A brilliant way to round off the final weekend of August — and a reminder that there’s so much more to discover across the Algarve beyond the beaches.

Who’s heading there tonight? ⚔️🏰

But we want to hear from you…

What are you most looking forward to this September in the Algarve?

Well… that was one hell of a Saturday 😂

Started off with meetings, squeezed in getting my nails done, then headed to SIP to finally try the famous matcha.

Popped into Algarve Candle Company and picked up one of their amazing new candles that sits under a lamp and melts from the heat of the light , such a brilliant idea, and it smells absolutely beautiful.

And then, naturally, we finished the day with… a trip to a pig farm!

Meetings, nails, matcha, candles and pigs. Oh and puppies !

Just your average Saturday in the Algarve really! 😂
