Josh Peterson is one of those friends I get to see maybe once a year, but every time we meet, it always turns into something memorable.

After the Gliding Barnacles Festival, Josh stayed with us in Ericeira for a few days - surfing, shaping a few boards, and just soaking in the vibe — before flying to Italy with his beautiful fiancée, Jules, for some well-deserved vacations.

As always, Josh left behind a few shaped blanks for , a couple of custom boards, and, of course, a big dose of his kindness and love — something that’s just second nature to him.

He also left his Skill 100, the same one I used for shaping last year at his shop in the Sugar Mill in Hawaii.

Thank you, my friend, for your love, generosity, and all the good energy you bring wherever you go. Can’t wait to catch up again for our “family” morning surf sessions at that secret spot — the one whose name can’t be spoken... 🌊🤙
