CDFT004 is out on wax.
Five tracks from Miguel Rendeiro, Mike Morales, Bruno, Erp, Rompante, Sector Relay, Tasc’oTau and João Pedro Dias. Written around Porto or North of Portugal, finished and mixed at Cedofeita Studio and pressed in a run of 150 hand numbered copies. This one lives on vinyl.
Every copy comes with an insert by , Ukrainian illustrator and ceramic artist based in Porto. Drawn here, printed here, tucked into each sleeve. Local music, local artwork, leaving the city together.
Cedofeita began in a shared studio in Porto, where the first records came straight out of that room. The setup has changed but the line is the same: music made here by artists who live here. Names that are already part of the circuit sit next to producers putting a track on vinyl for the first time, with the studio as the place to finish ideas, tighten mixes and actually get the records out.
Thanks to everyone who had a hand in CDFT004, on and off the credits ( special thanks for for the extra par of hands on the stamping) . If it keeps flowing like this, the next one is already on the way.
