म राजनीति धेरै बुझ्दिन। पहिले चासो पनि थिएन।
तर यति बुझ्छु—हामीलाई वर्षौंसम्म नयाँ नेपालको सपना देखाइयो।
निरंकुशता भन्दै पुरानो व्यवस्था हटाइयो।
तर समयसँगै कुर्सी मात्र बदलियो, व्यवहार उस्तै रह्यो।

देशको नाममा ऋण थपियो।
उद्योग बन्द भए।
यहाँ बन्ने सामानले बजार पाएन।
युवा बिदेसिए।
आवाज उठाउनेहरू डराए।

भ्रष्टाचारको कुरा गर्दा गोली चल्ने देश बन्यो।
आफ्नै सरकार भनिनेहरूले आफ्नै जनतालाई निशाना बनायो।
त्यो घाउ अझै निको भएको छैन।

तर अहिले एउटा युवा अघि बढेको छ।
उसले देश बनाउन सक्छ कि सक्दैन, समयले देखाउनेछ।

On August 6, 1945, Tsutomu Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima for work when the atomic bomb exploded. The city disappeared in seconds.

He survived. Burned. Shaken. But alive.

He went back home to recover.

Unfortunately his "Home" was Nagasaki.

Three days later, while telling his boss what happened, the second bomb exploded.

He survived that too.

He lived until 93. Some lives are touched by history. His was hit by it twice.
