Love, Show and Breed Australian Shepherds & Briards in Portugal Enjoy our dogs! João & Niklas

SOUTHSEASIGHT Australian Shepherds & Briards is nestled within the beautiful Atlantic Coast of Portugal, 30 minutes South of Lisbon. We are João and Niklas living our dream in a 1.7 hectare farm, surrounded by a Natural Park and facing the Ocean. We both have an equine hobby background and always had dogs as the best companions so, the decision to be a part of the show & breed dogs community, came

naturally. We got our first two Australian Shepherd in 2016, as pets, and we got completely hooked to the breed. The Briard is a different story: we know the breed for a long time but somehow it is a very rare dog and we felt that, starting our show & breed program with the Australian Shepherds, would be the best moment to start a show & breed program with the Briards too, promoting these fantastic breeds. We are very pleased to share our passion for dogs and to introduce our Australian Shepherds & Briards.

It was a long drive, but all worth it!

Bentley Von Southseasight got best Junior dog 🏆🤩!

C-Chasin My Dream Moravia Campanella aka “CHASE” won the Reserve Ticket! He therefore received the UK stud certificate and life long CRUFTS qualification 🥳🤩!

Our biggest thanks goes out to our friends Sonya Hillier and Jan and Dave for all the help and fabulous company!

Big congratulations again to all the winners, we will be back! ❤️

Nationale d’Élevage of the Briards 2025 🇫🇷 – Berlencourt-le-Cauroy

We had a wonderful weekend in the North of France, blessed with great weather and the company of both old and new friends, all brought together by our love for the Briard.

Our dogs achieved some very nice results that we are proud to share:
Our young Bentley von Southseasight impressed us with a fantastic 4th place in the Junior class, while our beloved Aslan von Southseasight passed his character test with a fabulous score of 18.5/20 points.
All of our dogs received the grade “Excellent,” which made us very happy.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the NE 2026! ❤️
