You already know who they are.

There’s someone in your city booking the work that should be coming to you. You’ve seen their content, you've seen their work. You know it isn’t better than yours. That’s the part that stings.

Here’s what’s actually going on though. They’re not winning because they’re good. They’re winning because they’re familiar. People book the name they see, not the best work in the room. Familiarity beats quality when nobody knows you exist.

That’s a positioning problem, and positioning is fixable. Strategy, script, film, edit, ads, convert. A system that puts your name in front of the right people often enough that you become the obvious choice in your area.

By now, most of you have already heard the news.

It's already been a week and I couldn't bring myself to make this post. I’ve been trying so hard to find the right words to say this, but I just can’t.

There were supposed to be so many more years ahead of us, so many more trips to Kruger and somehow you're gone.

And while I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out what to write, I realise that no little Instagram post could ever truly honour my dad the way he deserved, or the way I wish I had honoured him while he was here with us.

My dad was deeply loved by so many people. He carried such a huge heart for others and an even deeper love for God. He wanted people to know Him, not just intellectually, but personally and intimately. Whether you were young or old, somehow he made you feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.

He wasn’t perfect, but he was real. He loved deeply, felt deeply, and gave so much of himself to the people around him.

I still don’t really have the words.

I don’t think I will for a long time.

But I’m so grateful I got to call him my dad.

Love you always, Dad.

I imagine Jesus having an Instagram account (similar to him standing on a boat preaching to a crowd across the water). He had a niche following and they're still making waves today. Most business owners try to fix sales.

But sometimes it’s not a sales problem.

It’s a marketing problem.

If your marketing is strong, your sales calls feel easier.
If your sales is strong, you can survive weaker marketing.

But if you can’t move someone from:
follower → conversation → call

You don’t have a sales issue.

You have a system issue.

That’s the part most people skip.

Getting someone from “interested” to “on the call” is a skill.
And once that’s working, everything changes.
