The Prime Minister will address the SCO Council of Heads of State Summit to be held from August 31 to September 01, 2025.) summit, the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War in Beijing and other official engagements.

Pakistani banks have set a new record with Rs326 billion profit in the first half of 2025. According to a report by Arif Habib Limited, profits surged nearly 20% compared to last year. The April–June quarter alone delivered Rs160 billion profit, up 23% year-on-year.

Net Interest Income crossed the Rs1 trillion milestone, while non-markup income rose 7%. Stock prices skyrocketed, with NBP gaining 148%, UBL 111%, and Askari Bank declaring a dividend after more than a decade. The sector also paid Rs394 billion in taxes, showing massive growth and stability.

Big news for Pakistan’s seafood industry. The United States has officially approved seafood exports from Pakistan for the next four years. Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry said this reflects international trust in the quality of Pakistani seafood.
