Rather than focusing on just one area, my work centers on building both physical and digital spaces where Muslim women can connect, collaborate, and access opportunities. From organizing community gatherings like the Muslimah Inc. Gala to building digital platforms and writing children’s books that reflect Muslim identity, my work focuses on representation, visibility, and long-term ecosystem building.

Because I am actively building these initiatives while also navigating motherhood and entrepreneurship, I bring a perspective that is both practical and deeply personal, focused on creating spaces where Muslim women can lead, build, and thrive.”

Fatima Younes is a multifaceted powerhouse. Her work sits at the intersection of community building, storytelling, and entrepreneurship. She is the founder of Muslimah Inc.® and Muslimah HQ, platforms focused on building an ecosystem for professional Muslim women to connect, collaborate, and grow.

Fatima is a children’s book author. Her books include J is for Jalebi, A Pink Eid in Brooklyn, and Duas Under the Stars, which focus on identity, culture, and representation for Muslim children.
Fatima has also been involved in conversations connected to the modest fashion community during New York Fashion Week, where discussions around representation and identity continue to grow.

Dear Friends,

I had to step away. As a business owner, how do I compartmentalize who I am and how I’m feeling? How do I promote a business while watching injustice spread its venom across the globe?

I’ll tell you my secret. It’s not pretty and it’s not easy. I fight back the guilt and shame that engulfs me with constant remembrance that God controls all, and I am created human. When grief strikes deeply, I remember that I must love deeper to keep my heart alive. I remember that I come from a land that is beyond generous. I come from a people who honor their word, those who offer you love and goodness without wanting anything in return, and those who aren’t afraid to stand firm against evil.

So what is my purpose, and how do I find it amongst the chaos?

I still my soul and I remind myself that “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” (إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ) - “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.”

I am created by the most loving and most compassionate. I know my Lord, and I am forever grateful for His decree and by using the talents and resources He has blessed me with, I fulfill my purpose.

We don’t give up. We mustn’t give up.
