360 DEGREES TRIO TOWERS IN IKOYI WAS 80% COMPLETED AND 65% SOLD OUT AT THE ONE OF THE TOWERS COLLAPSED

What To Know About Collapsed Building [360 Degrees Ikoyi]

On Monday November 1st, an uncompleted 21-storey building located at Gerard Road, Ikoyi, collapsed with a yet-to-be-ascertained number of persons still trapped beneath the rubble.

the structure was designed as a three-tower estate (360° Degree Towers). The collapsed section is one of the three towers.

*The main contractor for the project, FourScore Homes, is owned by Femi Osibona, a UK-trained estate developer.

*According to Highbrow Living Magazine, the property, consisting of four-bedroom maisonettes, flats, duplex and penthouses, was 65 percent sold out. “The 20-floor strictly residential facility is the brain works of Fourscore Homes, evolving from a desire to build an original masterpiece. The concept is to have service flats in the three towers for residents to experience a stress-free lifestyle, complete with a hotel flair with a 360-degree view of Lagos state,” the magazine reads.

*Other planned features of the “luxury in the sky” building include open recreation area with outdoor television, gym, and swimming pool.

*The structure was said to be 80 percent completed and was billed to be concluded in 2022.

*The price range for the apartment is said to be between $1.2 million and $5 million.

In an interview with THISDAY, Osibona said the project was supposed to be the first of its kind in Nigeria.

“This development will give peace of mind and comfort to the residents, because everything works,” he said.

“We have exhibited our expertise in property development in the United Kingdom, South Africa, the United States of America and Nigeria. Fourscore Homes possesses uncommon capabilities in redefining property development in any market we choose to play in.

“I was one of the people whose real estate developments led to the growth of East London. I bought a house on New Cross Road and renovated it. I also bought a piece of land behind it and built two flats there, and that is what I will call my first real estate project. That was how I started building houses for sale.”

Meanwhile, according to an Instagram post by Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation Magazine, Abdulrosheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo, visited the building on October 9, 2021.

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has ordered an immediate investigation into Monday’s collapse of a 21-storey building situated on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, which was still under construction.

But the Lagos State government was quick to add that apart from using inferior materials and flouting basic building regulations, the billionaire businessman owner, Femi Osibona, had allegedly carried on with the construction without subjecting it to procedural approvals.

CCTV CAPTURED BABA IJESHA FONDLING SENSITIVE PARTS OF THE 14 YEAR OLD GIRL

Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, kissed and fondled sensitive parts of the body of the 14-year-old girl in the care of popular comedienne, Adekola Adekanya, otherwise called Princess.

Not done, Omiyinka, while engaging in the act, was also seen licking the fingers on the left hand of the victim and caressing the minor’s legs and thighs with his left hand.

In an apparent effort to sexually arouse the minor, Omiyinka was seen lifting the victim’s dress as he caressed the minor’s body.

Our correspondent who obtained the footage observed that the minor was dressed in a sleeveless gown as she sat on a sofa in Adekanya’s residence. Omiyinka wore a white shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a hat.

Shortly after Adekanya stepped out, Omiyinka, who also sat beside the victim on the same sofa, was seen using his hand to caress the victim’s left arm.

Before Omiyinka started the act, the comedienne was seen leaving her apartment with three others, leaving Omiyinka and the victim in the parlour to see off the guests. After Adekanya left the apartment, Omiyinka was shown by the footage searching the rooms.

Some minutes later, Omiyinka kissed the minor’s arm, hugged and caressed her body as they sat on the sofa.

However, the victim, who was uncomfortable by Omiyinka’s advances, quickly disentangled herself from the actor’s grip.

Omiyinka was again seen in the footage, standing with the victim in the parlour, hugging the minor and using his two hands to caress the victim’s buttocks.

The victim, however, disengaged herself from Omiyinka, who clung to her. Afterwards, Omiyinka was seen using both hands to caress the minor’s head.

The footage also showed him bending the victim to a corner on the sofa and kissing the minor. Again, the 14-year-old girl disengaged herself from Omiyinka’s grip.

The sexual advances were instigated by the thespian. Also, background voices of people monitoring the situation in the parlour were heard in the footage. From the footage assessed, there was no part that showed Omiyinka defiling the minor.

Meanwhile, Omiyinka was seen in another footage remorsefully pleading to Adekanya, and some other persons, who reportedly caught him sexually assaulting the minor in the parlour.

“Please forgive me, I am sorry. I know I have offended but please forgive me. I beg you in the name of God, please forgive me. You tried for me, you don’t deserve this.

“I don’t know what went wrong with me, forgive me. If you want to take me away (to Panti), let me just kill myself. I know I have done what is wrong, but please, forgive me,” Omiyinka said in the footage while being interrogated by Adekanya and others.

PRESIDENCY SAYS FATHER MBAKA ASKED FOR CONTRACTS, WAS TURNED DOWN IS THE REASON HE'S CALLING FOR BUHARI'S RESIGNATION.

THREATENS TO REPORT MBAKA TO PAPALCY

FATHER MBAKA IS EVERYTHING APART FROM WHAT HE CLAIMS TO BE

An outsider distilling the avalanche of verbiage, will be surprised that after supporting the President two times to win the Presidency, Father Mbaka has made a complete U-Turn, preposterously asking President Buhari to resign or be impeached.

Here is the point of departure: Father Mbaka asked for a meeting and to the shock of Presidential Aides, he came accompanied by three contractors. The President graciously allowed them in, and to everyone’s surprise, Father Mbaka asked for contracts as compensation for his support.

Anyone familiar with President Buhari knows that he doesn’t break the laid down rules in dealing with contracts or any other government business for that matter. He requested the appropriate authorities to deal with the matter in accordance with laid down rules.

Inside the Villa, discretion prevailed, that if those pictures and requests were made public, the followers will turn against the religious leader. None of it was released. Now, this is what is eating Father Mbaka.

OVER 800 PROPERTIES WORTH $400 MILLION IN DUBAI HAVE BEEN TRACED TO POLITICIANS IN NIGERIA.

35 state governors have acquired a total of 69 properties

Matthew Page, an associate fellow, Chatham House, said this while delivering a paper titled Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) in Real Estate and Education Sector: Implications for Investigators at a 2-Day Capacity Building for Investigators on Investigating IFFs organised by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

Disclosing that 35 state governors have acquired a total of 69 properties, Page noted that five presidency staff members were controlling 13 properties, while 16 lawmakers are in possession of 45 properties.

According to the findings, 15 ministers have 25 properties, 158 suspected politicians’ proxies are in control of 226 properties, 14 security sector leaders 71, 50 PEP (politically exposed persons)-linked business persons 91, 13 Known Nigerian law enforcement agency suspects 216, 16 heads of department and agency 25, 11 NNPC officials 19, a judge has one.

Page, who blamed lack of transparency, huge financial flows and inadequate international safeguard for the development further disclosed that Nigerian politicians are spending over $30 million annually on UK education, which he said was beyond their annual earnings.

He urged investigators to compare these payments to their known assets and incomes, examine third party payments, request forex data, review media for PEP schooling and probe MDAs that provides scholarships.

Earlier in his welcome remarks, ICPC chairman, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye stated that the capacity building programme would help investigators to track illicit financial flows, money laundering and other areas the government is losing revenue and recover such funds.

“The loss of revenue is a major challenge to developing countries, particularly Nigeria,” Owasanoye said.

“The meeting is, therefore, designed to build the capacity of our investigators to enable them to trace the areas in which the government is losing money, look for the likely places people hide money, stop the illicit financial flows, and recover the funds.

“We are already working with the FIRS and getting a lot of tax evaders and defaulters into the nation’s tax net. One of the takeaways from here is the kind of question an investigator needs to ask in tracking IFFs and money laundering

FAMOUS AMPUTEE HAWKER APOLOGIZES TO NIGERIANS FOR LYING.
SAYS HER GRANDMOTHER TRID TO BLACKMAIL HER FOR MONEY

Famous amputee hawker, Mary Daniel, has asked Nigerians for forgiveness after she lied that her father was dead.
Recall that when her story went viral, Mary had received N25 million donations from well-meaning people who were moved by the story that she lost her leg in an accident that claimed the life of all passengers, including her parents.

However, fresh reports claimed that her presence in Oshodi was staged, and alleged that there was no accident as she was amputated “from birth”.

Mary has refuted allegations that her story was staged, stating that she had been hawking sachet water despite being an amputee because she does not know how to beg for alms but rather work to survive.

The young lady also told SaharaReporters that the “strange calls” she was reportedly receiving was from her maternal grandmother, who was sad that she only got N200,000 from Daniel’s fortune so far.

She said ;

“My father abandoned me since I was involved in this accident, there was no one to take care of me, nothing! That was why I said he’s dead. But my mother is truly dead. I had an accident truly; I was not amputated from birth.

“It was my grandmother that called me that she does not have anything, that if I have, I should send it. I said let me give her small money so she can use it to manage herself for now. I wanted to send N100, 000, I sent N200, 000 instead. She called me and asked why I sent her such a meagre amount, that, do I think she doesn’t know what’s going on, that how will people be contributing money for me and all I do is to send N200, 000.

“She said I’d rather send more money or she will expose me and I will go back to selling ‘pure’ (satchet) water. I was shocked and asked what sort of thing is this. She’s my maternal grandmother, she is really old.

“My aunties and uncles from my mother’s side are the ones pushing my grandmother into this and if she continues like this, later she will regret it. I have told her to calm down that I will take care of her but she refused. She is busy following her children around, making videos, that’s their business.

“Nigerians should forgive me. People that stay on the streets and in noisy places, they hardly have a settled mind and I said my father is late so Nigerians can help me. I made a big mistake; Nigerians should please forgive me.

“I want to open a supermarket in Lagos. I have always been a pure water hawker. Lagos is not the first place, I started from Onitsha, from there, I sold pure water in Asaba from there I came to Lagos. I don’t beg, even in my condition, I hawk that water so I can survive. That’s the business I have always been doing.

“I really appreciate the Lagos state government, Mr Idris, the hotel man that gave me accommodation, that celebrated my birthday. I also appreciate Princess Aderemi, for all the support and everyone that helped. I promise not to fail Nigerians.”
