The State of Qatar has strongly condemned attacks by Yemen's Houthi group targeting King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia and a Saudi Airlines aircraft, causing deaths, injuries and material damage.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Doha denounced the attacks "in the strongest possible terms", describing them as a grave violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security, civilian safety and civil aviation.
The ministry reaffirmed Qatar's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stressing its support for all legitimate measures taken by the kingdom to protect its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity and national interests.
It also emphasized that Saudi Arabia's security was inseparable from Qatar's security and the collective security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
Qatar expressed its condolences to the martyr's families, as well as to the government and people of Saudi Arabia, and wished those injured a speedy recovery.

His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following the death of three Saudi citizens in two attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

The State of Qatar and the Republic of India held the sixth round of political consultations between their foreign ministries in New Delhi, focusing on bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen ties.
The talks were co-chaired by HE Dr Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and HE Sripriya Ranganathan, Secretary for Consular, Passport and Visa, and Overseas Indian Affairs at India's Ministry of External Affairs.
Officials said the consultations reviewed cooperation between the two countries and explored ways to support and further develop bilateral relations.
The meeting was attended by HE Mohammed bin Hassan Al Jaber, Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of India and HE Al Johara Fakhro, director of Asian Affairs Department at Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside other officials.
The consultations form part of ongoing diplomatic engagement between Qatar and India, which maintain relations across a range of areas of mutual interest.

Qatar's former Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) secretary-general, HE Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah, has strongly condemned attacks by Yemen's Houthi group against Saudi Arabia, describing them as a violation of the kingdom's security, stability and sovereignty.
In a statement to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Attiyah, a Qatari Minister of State, said the reported targeting of the holy cities of Makkah and Medina showed a "disregard for the sanctity of Islam's most sacred sites".
He also condemned attacks targeting civilians in Saudi Arabia.
Al Attiyah said aggression against Saudi Arabia threatened not only the kingdom but also the security and stability of all GCC member states and their populations.
He warned that attempts to destabilize the region threatened decades of progress in regional security and stability, built on cooperation, coordination and solidarity among Gulf countries.
He expressed confidence that the attacks would fail to undermine the stability established by Gulf states.
Al Attiyah also praised the Saudi leadership's response, saying its position reflected the kingdom's determination to confront the attacks.
