Dr Majed bin Mohamed al-Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said on his official X account that targeting facilities linked to Iran’s South Pars field an extension of Qatar’s North Field—constitutes a dangerous escalation. He warned that attacks on energy infrastructure threaten global energy security, regional stability, and the environment, and urged all parties to exercise restraint, adhere to international law, and work toward de-escalation.
