Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan HE Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha, on a fraternal visit to the country.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Doha International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Qatar HE Muhammad Amir.

The Ministry of Interior announces that the funeral prayer for the martyrs of the Israeli targeting, including the Martyr of Duty, Corporal Badr Saad Mohammed Al-Humaidi Al-Dosari, a member of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), will be held after Asr prayer today, Thursday, 11 September 2025, at Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Mosque, and they will be laid to rest at Mesaimeer Cemetery.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari said on Tuesday that Israel had carried out an attack in Doha against residential complexes where members of Hamas’s political bureau were staying.
Al-Ansari described the strike as a “cowardly act” which flagrantly breaches international law and endangers the safety of both Qatari citizens and foreign residents.
He stressed that Doha would not accept “reckless Israeli actions” that undermine regional stability or threaten the country’s sovereignty, adding that security and emergency services responded immediately and that an investigation had already begun.

As part of the back-to-school awareness campaign, the General Directorate of Traffic carried out a field visit today to Ahmed Mansour Primary School for Boys, with the participation of Brigadier Jaber Ali Al Kubaisi, Director General of Traffic, along with a number of officers from the Directorate.

The visit aimed to raise traffic awareness among students, familiarize them with traffic rules and etiquette, and encourage them to adhere to these rules both inside and outside the school, thereby promoting a culture of traffic safety.

The visit included an awareness lecture that provided advice and guidance on the importance of wearing seat belts, safe road crossing, as well as avoiding unsafe traffic behaviors.

Dr Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed the State of Qatar's strong condemnation of the attack on Al Udeid Air Base by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
He said in a post on the "X" platform: “We express the State of Qatar's strong condemnation of the attack on Al Udeid Air Base by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, and consider it a flagrant violation of the State of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, as well as of international law and the United Nations Charter. We affirm that the State of Qatar reserves the right to respond directly in a manner proportionate to the nature and scale of this blatant attack and in accordance with international law.”
“We are reassured that Qatari air defenses thwarted the attack and successfully intercepted the Iranian missiles. A statement explaining the circumstances of the attack will be issued later by the Ministry of Defense. We also affirm that the continuation of such escalatory military actions will undermine security and stability in the region, dragging it into situations that will have disastrous repercussions for international peace and security. We call for an immediate cessation of all military actions and a serious return to the negotiating table and dialogue.”
He said, “We emphasize that the State of Qatar was among the first countries to warn against the consequences of Israeli escalation in the region, calling for the priority of diplomatic solutions, and adhering to the principles of good neighbourliness and non-escalation.”
He affirmed that dialogue is the only way to overcome current crises and preserve the security of the region and the peace of its peoples.
The base had been evacuated earlier in accordance with approved security and precautionary measures, given the tensions in the region.
All necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of base personnel, including members of the Qatari Armed Forces, friendly forces, and others. He confirmed that no injuries or human losses occurred as a result of the attack.
