Story time!

This photo was taken last Sunday at exactly 9:59 PM. I was exhausted.. my body was begging for rest, and I had just told them, “Time to sleep, mommy’s really tired.”

But then… they looked at me. That kind of look only little ones can give --- full of love, full of unspoken words.

As if they were saying, “Mommy, we’ve been at nanny’s house the whole day… we just want a little more time with you. To laugh. To play. To feel that you're here with us.”

And in that moment, I paused. I took this photo.
Because even if I was tired, even if my eyes were heavy, I knew --- these moments won’t last forever.

So I chose presence over sleep.

Because I have these two little souls who remind me every day that I am their world, and they are mine.

Being a mom isn’t always easy, but I’m learning and growing every day. Recently, my son, who absolutely loves to draw.. asked me to draw something with him. I hadn’t picked up a pencil in years, but I gave it a try. That simple moment turned into something really special. Now, drawing together has become our little bonding time, and it’s brought us even closer. It’s amazing how something so small can create such a strong connection.
