Five days ago, I underwent gallbladder surgery. By God’s grace, everything went well, and I’m slowly recovering now.
The stones in this picture were removed from my gallbladder. And I thought of sharing this with you all.
Gallstones can sometimes cause no symptoms at all. But for some people, they can cause pain on the right side of the abdomen, especially after eating, pain that may spread to the back or shoulder, nausea, or vomiting.
As part of my weight-loss journey, I had been doing intermittent fasting. I later learned that rapid weight loss and certain changes in eating patterns can increase the risk of developing gallstones.
My small advice to everyone ❤️
Please don’t ignore repeated or unusual pain thinking, “It’s probably just gas.” If something doesn’t feel right, get it checked and seek medical advice at the right time.
Our health is one of the greatest blessings we have. It is always better to take care of it while we have it, rather than trying to regain it after losing it. ❤️
Thankful to God for bringing me through this safely. 🙏
Now, slowly recovering and looking forward to getting back to normal.
