Unlearning is underrated.

We celebrate growth, but rarely talk about what we have to leave behind in order to grow - like the idea that you have to sound extra formal to be taken seriously, or that feedback only comes when something’s wrong, or that working late somehow equals better performance. 😅

Many of us come from environments where showing vulnerability was risky, where “just doing your job” meant playing small, and where authenticity was saved for off-hours. But over time, that starts to shift. You realize you can be real and professional. You speak up without flinching. You care out loud.

Because the goal isn’t to perform. It’s to show up - fully, honestly, and ready to do great work. 💪🏼
