Today I had the pleasure of meeting Francesco Buscemi, the author of the book "The Island on an Island: The Cultural History of Costa Smeralda."
The presentation highlighted interesting aspects of Costa Smeralda’s cultural and economic development, raising questions about the probability of similar patterns occurring in other parts of the world today, especially in regions like Italy and Greece, where local communities are often overwhelmed by tourism, yet deeply dependent on it.

In today’s Elsevier webinar on Communicating Research, early-career researchers raised concerns about how to convey their findings credibly while using AI tools.
Here is my perspective on the matter:
The credibility of your research largely depends on how AI tools are used. If employed primarily for tasks such as spelling correction or language refinement, rather than generating content or fabricating evidence, their impact on the legitimacy of your work is minimal.
In the end, it all comes down to the way you use these tools and paper transparency.
Clearly state which tools were used, how and why you used them, and always verify the accuracy of the information they help produce.

Investițiile UE în atingerea obiectivelor verzi au început prin debutul a 91 de proiecte care susțin inovația pentru: gestionarea spațiilor și speciilor protejate; împiedicarea pierderilor de hrană, atât în procesul de fabricare, cât și în cel de comercializare; identificarea unor soluții circulare ce includ mai multe domenii, contribuind la dezvoltare sustenabilă și adaptare la noi metode de lucru și norme pentru o lume mai verde.

De asemenea, proiectele acordă o importanță sporită:

🌿Soluțiilor anti-poluare,
🌿Adoptării metodelor organice de lucru în agricultură,
🌿Dezvoltării politicilor și implementării unei guvernanțe aliniate cu tendințele verzi ale UE.
Aceste inițiative demonstrează angajamentul Uniunii Europene de a sprijini tranziția către un viitor mai sustenabil, prin inovație și măsuri concrete.
