Hey everyone, I wanted to share why I’ve been absent from Instagram and social media lately. I’ve been deeply immersed in studying for my WSET Level 3 certification and once I took the exam I felt I needed to take a break and go back to simply enjoying family life a bit.
For those unfamiliar, WSET Level 3 is a rigorous wine education program that delves into the world of wine in great detail. It’s not just about tasting; it covers regions, grape varieties, production methods, and more. Achieving this means you possess a significant level of expertise and dedication in the wine industry. The results will not be in for quite some time, but I do want to share something with those of you who might be interested in such studies in the future!
First, be sure of the path you want to take, as it is not an easy one, second, be dedicated, and results will not fail to appear, and third, never give up if your heart is in it! Many people fail the first try of a WSET exam at any level, and it is no shame. Simply try again!
As for me, I’m keeping my fingers crossed to hear soon that I passed my exam and I can add that third diploma to my shelf!
P.S. In these pictures you may find some of the wines I chose to train with in my last week of studying. Keep in mind that studying wine doesn’t mean you should only shoot for the expensive and notorious wines. All wines in this world hold a lesson for you, good or spoiled, prestigious wine cellar standard or home made, try them all, appreciate the effort behind them all!
