This weekend, Black Rhino Radio and Riddim Bandits took a trip to International Dub Gathering to play on the first day at the invitation of Greenlight Sound System. The energy, the atmosphere, the sound systems, and the selectors were off the charts.

In the festival’s four days, we could shake down walls and connect to the culture’s low frequencies. A well-curated lineup with artists flying worldwide only made justice to the festival’s name - International Dub Gathering.

Irie Daily is a dedicated vinyl collector and dub selector with deep roots in sound system culture. His journey began in 2005, building a record collection that quickly led him to his first dance in Istanbul the following year. In 2007, after relocating to Belgium, he joined Ionyouth Soundsystem as an apprentice, becoming a core member between 2008 and 2014. During this time, he played at festivals such as Reggae Geel and Irie Vibes, opening for legends like Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti-I, and Jah Tubby’s World System. With a passion for heavy basslines and conscious vibrations, Irie Daily sets the tone for an authentic roots and culture experience.
