This is the new Eversolo T10 everyone seems to be talking about.

I received my review unit more than a month ago, but since it arrived brand new, I preferred to give it plenty of break-in time before drawing any serious conclusions.

Over the following weeks, I kept it running almost continuously and gradually felt the presentation settle into what I considered its final form. Only then did I begin the critical listening and comparison sessions.

Now that all my tests are finally complete, I can sit down and start writing the in-depth review that many of my readers have been waiting.

There is a prayer behind Dominique Fils-Aimé's new album, My World is the Sun.

You can hear this prayer on "Rhythm of Nature". Dominique’s voice rises somewhere above you and you are presented with a vast, yet dark soundstage, with only a bass and a guitar accompanying her. The track is quite long, around 9 minutes, and it does not follow a classical structure, yet it feels instantly natural, as if it were recorded live in one continuous take, drawing you into a dream-like state alongside Dominique, those 9 minutes passing almost instantly, leaving you at the end wondering, “what was that?”.

The moment created by Rhythm of Nature is deeply spiritual, as if providence itself is somewhere above, and Dominique reaches upward as much as she can, trying to confess her emotions, feelings that keep growing, and growing, and growing, in a nine-minute paroxysm. Rhythm of Nature is, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable tracks I have discovered in recent times, both musically and, if you allow me, from an audiophile perspective. It remains in my most personal playlist, always within reach.

I'm excited to introduce a brand-new section on my website: Audiophile Stories.

Through this series, I'll be visiting fellow audiophiles, stepping inside their listening rooms, exploring the systems they've carefully built over the years, and sharing the stories behind them. After all, every great hi-fi system reflects the personality, experiences, and passion of the person who assembled it.

I'm delighted to begin this journey with one of my closest friends, Victor Chisingher.

The first thing that strikes you in Victor’s room is the sheer scale of the sound. Close your eyes and listen, and you immediately perceive a presentation that extends far beyond the physical boundaries of the room, in depth, width and height alike. The soundstage produced within an already large space feels even larger still, which is, in itself, a remarkable achievement for loudspeakers so diminutive in relation to the size of the room. In fact, this is precisely what makes the experience so intriguing. The moment you open your eyes, it is difficult to believe that such an expansive sound is coming from two loudspeakers so small.”

I remember being almost 14 when Mariah Carey released Daydream. It was mostly the girls in my class who listened to it, but I certainly did not avoid it. Quite the opposite, I listened to it from beginning to end back then.

This very month, Daydream was reissued as the 30th Anniversary Edition, first on streaming platforms, followed by special physical editions on CD, vinyl, and cassette.

Compared with the original 1995 album, the anniversary edition adds an entire disc of rarities and remixes, along with live recordings from Madison Square Garden, Tokyo Dome, and Rotterdam.

Listening to it again immediately brought back memories of my school years and of my classmates from that time. This one will definitely find its way into my collection. 🙂
