”Hello creative people,
I am Roberta Neacsu, an architect and illustrator based in Cluj, the heart of Transylvania, the person behind .
Art was always a part of me, since I was just a little girl who loved drawing on everything, especially the walls. I still remember the day my grandparents had to cover the walls with some wood panels, so I stopped drawing with wax crayons on it.
My art passion never stopped but evolved into something greater than childish doodles. So this is how I became an Architect. I wanted to create and make the world a better living place.
My inspiration comes from a lot of things such as nature, people, architecture, movies, colors. Most of the time I illustrate just with watercolors, but recently I discovered gouache and somehow I became obsessed with it. I always fancy to discover new subjects to paint or new mediums to try because I get bored quickly.
The most cherished subject for painting that I will constantly come back to is flowers. I simply adore their beauty and can not find another subject that brings me so much joy when painting.
Recently I felt the need for something new and started creating some characters which I hope will materialize in a storybook for children very soon. I always desired to illustrate children’s storybooks and I think this moment has come.
When I am not illustrating or designing buildings I will probably be traveling or walking in a park/ forest, drinking coffee, and reading a book.”
