Ilustrațiile din proiectul “Rămâi cu tine” de Iulia Iordan au mai urcat o treaptă, și fac parte din cele 18 finaliste ale categoriei Publishing.
Competiția, ce va releva premiului la fiecare categorie în septembrie, a avut aproape 5000 de înscrieri din 85 de țări.

Mulțumesc editurii Seneca pentru entuziasmul contagios al tuturor celor implicați în realizarea acestei cărți unice!

”Hello creative people,

I am Roberta Neacsu, an architect and illustrator based in Cluj, the heart of Transylvania, the person behind .

Art was always a part of me, since I was just a little girl who loved drawing on everything, especially the walls. I still remember the day my grandparents had to cover the walls with some wood panels, so I stopped drawing with wax crayons on it.

My art passion never stopped but evolved into something greater than childish doodles. So this is how I became an Architect. I wanted to create and make the world a better living place.
My inspiration comes from a lot of things such as nature, people, architecture, movies, colors. Most of the time I illustrate just with watercolors, but recently I discovered gouache and somehow I became obsessed with it. I always fancy to discover new subjects to paint or new mediums to try because I get bored quickly.

The most cherished subject for painting that I will constantly come back to is flowers. I simply adore their beauty and can not find another subject that brings me so much joy when painting.

Recently I felt the need for something new and started creating some characters which I hope will materialize in a storybook for children very soon. I always desired to illustrate children’s storybooks and I think this moment has come.

When I am not illustrating or designing buildings I will probably be traveling or walking in a park/ forest, drinking coffee, and reading a book.”

“Hi there! My name is Sabina. I am a visual artist, combining several techniques with technology to create interactive objects and installations.

As a person I am ever changing. As I would try to write a description of me it would become irrelevant. I read recently an article saying that quantum physicists have stated that nothing exists until it is being perceived. Since I do not feel safe being perceived, this explained to me my fascination with non-existence and nothingness. Still, I am doing this 🫠 I’m Gemini, so a walking, living, stereotypical paradox. Lucky me...

I have many sources of inspiration ranging from nothingness to anything that moves, so everything because even rocks move even if ever so slightly we cannot perceive it.

I will use this to also express my gratitude to : for giving me the opportunity in 2020 to develope my technique with aluminium, and to and for the support with organizing exhibitions and workshops for the last two years ❤️”
