The Embassy of Romania to Ireland hosted a nice reception on Friday after Dublin City Council announces Solenoid by Mircea Cărtărescu and translated by Sean Cotter as winner of the 2024 Dublin Literary Award of Eur100,000. Must be emphasised that he quotes James Joyce as a major influence! We agreed that when he returns I'll take him the Joyce Tower.

We are pleased to have been selected for the Ex Oriente series workshop with our project ONE INCH EASTWARD. Workshops will take place in La Rochelle, Leipzig and Prague over the coming year.

We are happy to announce the official selection of this year’s Ex Oriente Film Documentary Laboratory participating projects. We’ve chosen 12 feature-length projects and 5 docuseries in the development and early production stage that challenge genres
