Sfârșitul unei ere. Un animal care a supraviețuit timp de 55 de milioane de ani și a trecut prin ploi de meteoriți, cutremure, era glaciară și multe altele, dar… nu a putut supraviețui speciei umane. Trist.

Am avut un moment zilele trecute când m-am gândit la dispariția animalelor din sălbăticie și cât de mult am pierdut în doar o generație. Un raport al WWF arată că populațiile de animale sălbatice au scăzut cu 73% în ultimii 50 de ani. Această declin rapid mi-a adus o doză uriașă de îngrijorare. Putem schimba direcția dacă ne unim forțele pentru protejarea naturii. Avem puterea de a transforma viitorul planetei prin acțiuni coordonate și prin iubirea față de Pământ. Deci, ce putem face chiar acum pentru a ajuta?
