I couldn’t have asked for more from this journey back home ✨(except for more days 🙈)

I left this remote village in Romania when I was 12 and living in London got me somehow detached from that reality….until I had a son and a partner that comes from a totally different reality to mine.

It’s become so important for me to show them where I come from, where (& how) I lived my childhood and where half of our son’s bloodline lived and still live 😍.

Although I don’t see myself living here anymore, it is so far the place that feels the most like home, even more so when being there with them 🥹 I hope they can always see it as a safe place to go to any time they need to rewind, to be back in touch with nature and simplicity or when nothing but a little glass of pălincă can solve their sorrows 😂

It was so special to see them walking the same paths I walked as a little girl and seeing Veiss so fascinated by all nature and animals was a little proof that he does belong there too. Honestly, I just find it crazy that these are also my son’s roots 🙈🙈🙈 but I love it so much for him. And I know one day he’ll stop and think of how special his whole background is👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏿.
