AI vs. Academic Editors: What’s the Difference?

While AI can assist with editing, it cannot match the expertise of PhD-holding specialists who understand the nuances of your field.

Unlike academic editors, AI programs do not hold degrees or specialize in specific subjects. As a result, their feedback is often generic, lacking depth, and sometimes even inaccurate. In some cases, AI-generated suggestions can compromise research integrity and contribute to misinformation.

For precise, reliable, and field-specific editing, human expertise remains essential.
