"To expand the boundaries of music"

Layered Reality Productions is a non-profit music label that focuses on Progressive, Symphonic and Avant-garde Metal from all around the world! The main goal for LRP is to provide artists and bands with services which enable them to fully unleash their musical potential without any limitations or creative obstructions. LRP prides itself in its musical diversity

, harboring intense bands such as Dimaeon & Sense Vs Sanity, but also Avant-garde acts such as Adeia & Insolitvs. But there is also room for melodic acts such as Mind:Soul & TDW and even the symphonic stylings of Nyx Aether and Unforeseen Motion have a place in the broad LRP spectrum. LRP was founded by Tom de Wit (Musician, songwriter and singer of TDW & Mind:Soul) in the autumn of 2010. He started the label for his own musical endeavors so that he could release his own music without anyone interfering in the business side of things. As soon as this idea took a workable shape, more bands gained interest because of the direct approach and DIY ethic that LRP radiated. The LRP family is a “do-it-yourself-collective” which is connected to the label’s services. Bands/artists work together to help each other forward in the musical landscape of today. The non-profit approach is different from traditional labels and production companies. This is based on the idea that the bands/artists who are a part of LRP make use of the offered services while retaining full creative and financial control. The bands/artists only pay a small amount of money to keep the label running smoothly and having control over (almost all of) the profits themselves. This way the label can remain stable and also offer new chances for current and new participants alike! 💥 Apeiron Bound Releases Re-Imagined Single: "Thought & Memory – Reverie" 🎵

Apeiron Bound return with a new single entitled "Thought & Memory – Reverie" to showcase the Florida-based progressive metal collective's updated lineup and sonic vision.
This re-imagined version of a song from their debut album is a preview of what they're cooking up for their forthcoming second album.

"Thought & Memory – Reverie," which originally appeared on the Apeiron Bound Collective's debut album, "Multiplicity" in 2022, has been re-imagined and re-recorded with their new line-up.

It remains as punishingly heavy as metal can be, yet its cinematic, almost ambient aspects have been emphasized and enhanced by the Collective's new line-up and updated artistic vision.

The band's main writer Andrew Stout had the following to say about this new release: "'Thought & Memory - Reverie' officially closes the four-year Multiplicity cycle. While it's our third redux track with this lineup, it's the first time we had the total creative freedom to deconstruct an older piece and take the arrangement to places previously out of reach. Originally, the track served as an extended lead-in to 'Eleutheromania,' but we always felt the story had more to give. With 'Reverie,' we’ve refined that vision—giving the piece a complete aesthetic overhaul and turning it into a full-fledged journey of its own."

Re-interpreted by the 2026 line-up of the collective and mixed/mastered to a new standard, this version is the best representation to date.

This updated version serves as a proper introduction to the new line-up and to the sound this Collective has developed for their upcoming sophomore album.

NEW SINGLE OUT NOW!

🎨 Darcy Kelly-Laviolette

"Thought & Memory - Reverie" marks the end of the four-year Multiplicity cycle. While this is our third redux track with the current A.B.C. lineup, it's the first time we truly had the freedom to reconstruct an older track and take its arrangement to places we couldn't explore before. This is also the first time that all audio engineering work was done completely in house by our very own John Galloway.

This may sound cliche, but looking back onto the original version, I knew that there was more to say on where the story could go. With a new coat of paint added to the overall soundscape. Whereas the original acts as an album intro extension that leads into "Eleutheromania", the "Reverie / Redux" version refines the journey as a full fledged journey of its own.

We hope you enjoy this rendition of our song. We look forward to sharing more of what's to come for 2027 onward.

Cheers 💪

On the 26th of August 2022, we released our debut album "Multiplicity" into the world!

This collection of work spans 12 tracks that includes three lead singles, four music videos, one radio edit, two instrumental rereleases, and two rerecorded "redux" releases with one more "redux" on the way this friday to conclude this chapter as we move into the next one.

To go down the long list of life events that went into working on & releasing this record would make for a novel in of itself. To keep things short, we extend our eternal gratitude for all the people that became part of the journey. If anyone's got a highlight of the record they'd love to share, we'd love to know in the comments.

We look forward to closing the "Multiplicity" chapter this Friday. We look forward to sharing more of what is to come 2027 onward!

Cheers 💪

💥 TDW releases Bane of the Talebearer OST on CD, USB and select streaming services! 💥

The eighth TDW solo album entitled: Bane of the Talebearer OST is out now for the world to hear on triple CD, USB stick and select streaming services.

An album that pushes the envelope for the musical trajectory of TDW (Which has not exactly been standardized to begin with) by containing no fewer than 73(!!!) pieces of music that form the score for the Bane of the Talebearer multimedia project. An album that not just features hallmarks of TDW music like the progmetal heard on earlier albums, but one that branches out by embracing both the big and the small in equal measure in a grand format.

When asked about this record and how it became what it is, Tom (de Wit, the person behind TDW) had the following to say:

"Never in my wildest dreams, could I have thought I would be able to make a musical project as grandiose as this. 73 pieces of music on one album is honestly downright ridiculous haha. But it grew the way it did, because all this music was composed within the confines of the greater story that Bane of the Talebearer is telling. And that's the story we tell through the show on YouTube, this album, the artbook and the videogame we are slowly already working on.

So if someone expects this to be a progressive metal album like I did before.... It isn't. But at the same time it is progressive in nature because it is so different and I challenged myself. And judging by the responses so far, I feel that this was a step I needed to take for my career, to really open myself up to new pastures. In terms of songwriting, production and overall experiences making this project happen, I really feel I leveled up and that feels incredible!

Also, I can assure you that the future will bring more metal records and musical journeys outside of the expected norm as well. But right now, I just want to enjoy this buzz a little and be happy to live in this musical fantasy world that hopefully is just as welcoming to all of you as it was to me."

You can now order the album directly through the websites for both TDW and Bane of the Talebearer as well as directly through Layered Reality Productions and Bandcamp. All proceeds go to the project directly and will be invested in new seasons of the show, future albums and the videogame development.

TDW releases music video for single "Remembrance"

Symphonic, Progressive Metal project TDW has released a music video for the song "Remembrance" last night (20th of March) through YouTube to start the promo cycle for the upcoming "Bane of the Talebearer OST" album.

Watch the video at the

The video, recorded in a medieval chapel in the city of Amersfoort features the musical and vocal talents of Clark McMenemy (Ihlo), Galen Stapley (Twilight Force), Lennert Kemper (Ex-Dreamwalkers Inc, Ex-Elithium), Tristan Turner (Abraham Sarache), Stan Eimers (Ex-Pyrolysis), P**i Gogerl (Ancient Fragments, Novena), Felix Luca King (Disconnected Souls), Mika Marbles & Mariana Jonas besides Tom himself, making it a rare who's who of modern symphonic, progressive and power metal musicians coming together to perform this track.

This album was created by Tom de Wit (The main guy behind TDW) and 35 guest musicians and 12 visual artists from 12 different countries. All contributing to the album that is released on CD and USB, as wel as the 80 page full color artbook that accompanies this project.

However, when looking at this 73 song behemoth of a project... It seems that only one song has vocals... This one. And the rest is mostly instrumental. When we asked Tom about this, he laughed and said:

"I know this will seem like complete madness to most. Releasing an album with 73 songs that mostly are instrumental or have choir parts IN OLD DUTCH and featuring almost no "traditional" songs like I did in my career so far. (Except that my music isnt very traditional, but hey) But it makes sense. For me Bane of the Talebearer was a way to spread my creative wings and try new things I wanted to do for a longer time. And making this video and single on this album felt like something I wanted to do to show the world that this project is real, alive and deserving of existence on all the fronts it covers. The music on this record is the soundtrack to all of it. So the show, the future videogame and whatever else we want to do.

So if anyone expects a progmetal album like I did before, they might need to adjust their expectations. But if you are open to musical diversity and an adventure with a lot of depth, you got a whole new world to dive into now."

The "Bane of the Talebearer OST" is coming out on the 29th of May 2026 through Layered Reality Productions on triple audio CD and will also be available on a branded USB stick and select music streaming services. (Please note that the music of TDW is no longer available on spotify.)

Look at this list of releases winning the prestigious The Progspace awards! And our boys of Seventh Station are in there, shining brightly like the stars they are! (We of course already knew this, but it's nice to see the confirmation externally haha)

But let's face it, all are winners in our books and especially big love goes out to Ihlo & Moron Police, as both those albums have been doing the rounds in our offices a lot as well.

Congrats to everyone here!
