Süle tore his ACL twice during his career. His most recent injury raised fears of a third, and that was the moment he knew it was time.
In his own words:

Another update on chemistry-boosted cards in EA Sports FC 26 ✅

🟢 Positional Mastery (available only through Evolutions) and 🟣 Time Gap — give full chemistry to the card in its “natural” positions, but affect the rest of the squad like a regular card.

Below are the bonuses of other card types compared to base chemistry:

🤩 Icons, 👑 End of an Era, and 👶 Future Stars Academy: +1 to any league, +1 to their nationality;
🦸‍♂️ Heroes and ✔️ Squad Foundations: +1 to their league;
🪨 Foundations: +1 to their club;
🌞 World Tour: +1 to their nationality;
🌞 Premium World Tour (identified by a crown at the top of the card): gives full chemistry to the card and +1 to their nationality;
👨‍✈️ Captains and 📱 Answer the Call: +2 to their nationality;
🆕🏆🏆💅🔴🧬 All TOTS versions: +4 to their league.

Special versions of Icons and Heroes have the same traits — their cards always have full chemistry. Other card types may lose their properties when cosmetic Evolutions are applied.

As part of the eLibertadores event in EA Sports FC 24, EA announced they’ve secured the full license for the Brazil national team 🔥

There are also unconfirmed reports that the Canadians weren’t able to reach an agreement with FIFA regarding a полноценный World Cup 2026 mode in the game 😢

As a result, we might only get a generated “inspired by” tournament instead of the real thing. Still, there’s a chance for solid content around the event — all we can do is hope EA delivers.

I also want to talk about 🇪🇸 Álex Grimaldo — starting from FIFA 20, he’s made the Team of the Season every single year, even earning a 🔵 TOTY once during Bayer Leverkusen’s title-winning season 🇩🇪

And yet… he never made a move to a “big club.” 🤔
Even though he began his senior career with FC Barcelona B in Spain’s second division.

Why do you think that is?
Now at 30, he’s still far from football “retirement” by modern standards 😁
