"The Scene" is out now, a dive into a mind that experiences the world as predatory and fractured, where self-alienation turns into imaginary persecution. This new single is part of the upcoming full-length album, "A Wilting Fountain", a journey of self-confrontation starting from the noise of the outside world and moving inward.

A Wilting Fountain is an album that shines a light on the earthly, the liminal and the spiritual, using an old Romanian carol as its opening incantation and guide. The thread running through all five songs is self-confrontation: starting from the noise of the outside world and moving inward, until the only thing left to face is yourself.

It's been exactly one year since one-man blackgaze project 'Sylvanshine' released its full-length album, 'The Offering'.

Rooted in post-black metal, post-rock, shoegaze, and doom metal, Sylvanshine weaves a contrasting landscape — shifting between crushing darkness and dreamlike radiance.
