AUTOR mentioned in El País by our dear friend Raluca Buzura. Her new collection will be showcase on May 10-11 at AUTOR International Contemporary Jewelry Fair 2025:

[...] Since taking this path, Buzura’s career has found its course. She began participating in AUTOR, one of the most important contemporary jewelry fairs in Eastern Europe, held in Bucharest. From there, she started receiving invitations to take part in fairs in other cities (Munich, Amsterdam, New York, Miami, Turin…) and, little by little, doors began to open to galleries and design stores — one in Tokyo, then another in Barcelona — that had once seemed out of reach. “I’ve been doing this for 15 years,” she says. Exhausting work, but necessary to give visibility to her collections. “I usually release one collection a year, two at most, and they’re always influenced by what’s happening around me or what’s happening to me.”

Desde que tomó esta dirección, la carrera de Buzura se encarriló. Empezó a participar en AUTOR, una de las ferias de joyería contemporánea más importantes de Europa del Este, que se celebra en Bucarest. A partir de aquí, le llegaron propuestas para participar en ferias de otras ciudades (Múnich, Ámsterdam, Nueva York, Miami, Turín…) y, poco a poco, se le abrieron las puertas de galerías y de tiendas de diseño —ahora una en Tokio, ahora otra en Barcelona— que antes parecían inalcanzables. “Llevo 15 años así”, dice. Un trabajo agotador, pero necesario para dar visibilidad a sus colecciones. “Suelo sacar una al año, máximo dos, y siempre están influenciadas por lo que ocurre a mi alrededor o lo que me ocurre a mí.
