Menimen - Coozos Clan SERVES THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND PLANNING A LEGAL NOTICE AND AN INTENTION TO SUE
Artist Menimen of Coozos Clan, alongside comedian Majuetdit, has taken legal action against the Ministry of Finance and planning as a result of unpaid performance fees, shedding light on citizen rights and governmental accountability. The case revolves around the ministry's failure to fulfill a contractual agreement regarding payment for services rendered during the swearing-in ceremony of a former finance minister.
Menimen, recognized for his artistic talents, was contracted alongside comedian Majuetdit and other service providers to contribute to the ceremony's entertainment. The agreed-upon compensation was $12,100 USD, encompassing stage hiring for both artists, sound system provision, and DJ services. Despite repeated attempts by Menimen and Majuetdit to secure their rightful payment, the Ministry of Finance is yet to fulfill its end of the agreement.
