🤔Wanna Know how industry songs are mixed?
Here's how they mix their vocals 🔽
• Before adding any effect/fx, gain stage the audio levels from the start and create some headroom.
• Route your vocals to a mixer bus.
• Add EQ and cut up to 90-100Hz depending on vocals.
• Add an opto Compressor to even out peaks with a ratio of 2:1 or 3:1.
• Add a de-esser.
• Add another EQ and remove mud (400-450Hz).
• Use Fresh Air VST to add some warmth and air.
• Now add an FET compressor to add harmonics (according to your taste, with max gain reduction of 1-4).
• Create a Reverb send bus.
• Create a delay send bus.
• Route all of them into one mixer bus and add EQ and group compression according to taste.
