Good news sometimes arrives quietly — in a short official message. Today, Life-Long Return received another important confirmation from the United States. Following our working correspondence with the Literary Division of the U.S. Copyright Office, the long-awaited registration certificate is now expected within the next 4–8 weeks. One more milestone reached. And the project keeps moving forward.

A producer sometimes returns to the past not to remain there, but to find what a project needs for its next step.
During current discussions with Lithuanian institutions in the United States about the future of Life-Long Return, I reopened materials from the project’s earlier Lithuanian development phase. There I encountered Remigijus Sabulis again — alive on screen, speaking directly to the audience.
He did not merely appear in the project’s informational teaser. He adapted its text and gave the story its first authentic Lithuanian voice.
The project continues moving forward. But those helping to build its future should also know about the remarkable people who believed in it before them.
This article is my tribute — and my long-overdue thank-you to an outstanding actor, director, and human being who remains part of the film’s journey.

For LLR News, I am sharing not just an artwork, but one of the early visual anchors of Life-Long Return — a painting commissioned specifically for the project and conceived from the beginning as a 16:9 film frame. Sometimes a project needs more than documents. It needs an object that quietly prove...

Not all film capital is looking for the same thing. In Part 1, I argued that "film money" is not a single category. In Part 2, I take the next step: understanding how different financing partners think before you ever walk into the room. Because every investor plays a different game — and successf...

Every week I read another article explaining how to pitch investors. Decks. Pitches. Budgets. Financial models. But I keep noticing the same omission. We spend an enormous amount of time learning how to approach capital... and surprisingly little time understanding the people behind it. This article...

Are franchises really bringing audiences back to theaters — or are familiar brands simply becoming easier to market than new stories? After watching Toy Story 5, I decided not to write a conventional review. Instead, I looked at the film as a writer-producer: studying what long-running franchises ...
