V. Stromchinskiy — L'architettura Della Memoria
L'architettura Della Memoria — релиз московского саунд-артиста, импровизатора, ивентора и основателя “Eternal Turns” Виталия Стромчинского. При создании материала применялись: “KORG volca modular”, iOS-синтезаторы, моделирование и запись звуков вызванных различными материальными объектами и их взаимодействием (фольга, металлические сосуды, звенящие шары, магниты, бумага, измерительная рулетка), полевые записи и радиошумы. Релиз состоит из трёх сольных этюдов и коллабораций с эстетически близкими артистами (Александр Сенько, Никита Василенко, Илья Белоруков). Бонус-трек взят из компиляции “Eternal Twinkle [Two]” (“Eternal Return Records”, 2016). Создание материала преследовало относительную свободу от жанровых и стилистических предпосылок; основной акцент делался на тембральных взаимодействиях и сонорических экспериментах в поканальном микшировании и процессуальностях трансформации звуковых потоков по принципу нагнетания и снятия напряжения. Альбом предлагает слушателю стать исследователем границ и способностей восприятия в опыте визуализации звучания материала. Возможно, релиз заинтересует любителей творчества Francisco Meirino, Jérôme Noetinger, Valerio Tricoli, Giuseppe Ielasi, Helena Gough и др. Графическое оформление кассеты выполнено с применением изображений партитуры фортепианного концерта Джона Кейджа, вид которой был искажён в процессе сканирования.
The album "L'architettura Della Memoria” is a release by Vitaly Stromchinsky, during the composition of which he used a modular synthesizer “KORG volca modular” for the first time, and also abundantly used recorded sounds created by using randomly found objects (foil, metal vessels, tinkling balls, magnets, paper, measuring roulette, harp and others). The release is two—part: the first part is a solo program consisting of three diverse etudes, the second is collaborations with artists close in sound aesthetics: Alexander Senko, Nikita Vasilenko and Ilya Belorukov. Each of the musicians was given three sound excerpts for the subsequent creation of independent creations from them. The album ends with a bonus track taken from the compilation “Eternal Twinkle [Two]” (Eternal Return Records, 2016). The composition was created under the now closed X3D5 project. The graphic design was made by V. Stromchinsky using the musical score of John Cage's piano concerto, the shape of which was warped during the scanning process. The release may be of interest to fans of the work of such sound artists as: Francisco Meirino, Marc Behrens, Valerio Tricoli, Giuseppe Ielasi, Helena Gough and others.
