We’re proud to share that 5 Mag (Chicago, USA) has featured our upcoming release, Henna Onna – Maboroshi EP, in a beautiful and thoughtful review.

Describing Maboroshi as a “career-elevating record,” the article highlights Henna Onna’s distinctive vinyl-focused sound, the EP’s immersive deep house aesthetic, and its Japanese-inspired sonic world. Мы рады представить виниловую версию «Преображенской площади» московского загадочного артиста Noots.

Пластинка состоит из шести треков: четырёх оригинальных композиций — Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad, Sudden Shift, Relaxing In Garage With Quattro и Flowing Harmony — и двух ремиксов от Edmondson и одного из пионеров drum & bass — Nookie.

Музыка свободно движется между эмбиентом, дип-хаусом, отголосками джангла и экспериментальной электроникой, не пытаясь вписаться в один жанр. В треки вплетены личные полевые записи: повседневный шум станции метро «Преображенская площадь» и спонтанная запись из гаража друга. Эти фрагменты придают даже самым абстрактным моментам ощущение реального места и времени.

Ремиксы предлагают два новых взгляда на материал: Edmondson привносит в Kovrov-1 своё тонкое чувство ритма и великолепную работу с текстурами, а Nookie превращает Mother Of Pearl Clouds в мягкую и текучую драм-н-бейс-версию.

We are pleased to present the vinyl version of “Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad” by the enigmatic Moscow artist Noots.

The record consists of six tracks: four original compositions — Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad, Sudden Shift, Relaxing In Garage With Quattro, and Flowing Harmony — as well as two remixes by Edmondson and one by Nookie, a pioneer of drum & bass.

The music moves freely between ambient, deep house, echoes of jungle, and experimental electronica, without trying to fit into a single genre. Personal field recordings are woven into the tracks: the everyday sounds of the “Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad” metro station and a spontaneous recording from a friend’s garage. These fragments lend even the most abstract moments a sense of real place and time.

The remixes offer two fresh perspectives on the material: Edmondson brings his subtle sense of rhythm and superb work with textures to “Kovrov-1,” while Nookie transforms “Mother Of Pearl Clouds” into a soft and fluid drum-and-bass version.

До выхода виниловой версии «Преображенской площади» от Noots остаётся совсем немного. На пластинке — четыре главных трека с LP и два ремикса, каждый из которых особенный для нас.

Один из них — «Mother Of Pearl Clouds» в интерпретации Nookie. Того самого Nookie, который стоял у истоков drum & bass в 90-х. Он взял нежную амбиентную вещь и сделал из неё что-то живое: текучее, глубокое и неостановимое.

The vinyl release of Noots’ «Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad» is almost here. Four original tracks from the LP, plus two remixes — both close to our hearts.

One of them is «Mother Of Pearl Clouds» by Nookie. The Nookie who was there at the roots of drum & bass in the 90s. He took a gentle ambient piece and turned it into something alive: fluid, deep, unstoppable.

«Держитесь за поручни!» — Noots дебютирует на нашем лейбле с EP, где эмбиент, дип-хаус и отголоски джангла соседствуют без границ. Полевые записи — метро и гаражные джемы — придают абстрактным трекам живость. Отдельно выделяется ремикс на «Kovrov-1» и финальный ремикс от в духе шелковистого drum & bass.

Moscow’s newly emerging Noots makes his debut with an EP that dissolves genre boundaries. Ambient washes, deep house grooves, jungle echoes and experimental textures coexist in a fluid internal architecture. Field recordings, from the daily hum of Moscow’s Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad metro to a friend’s impromptu garage session, weave seamlessly into the music to ground his often abstract compositions in the real world. There is beauty in the green synths of ‘Sudden Shift’ and a blurry psychedelic edge to the ambient pads of ‘Flowing Harmony’, while Edmondson’s hypnotic rework of ‘Kovrov-1’ adds a driving, textured dimension before a standout Nookie remix takes things into silky d&b territory.
