zing training to all Rwandan filmmakers in order to mitigate the skills gaps in film industry. The festival will be taking place every year and will be a liaison of all East African film festivals in Rwanda, the 2nd Edition Comes again in Kigali from 6 to 12 March, 2016 under the Theme "Cinema Unites Africa"
The second edition will offer a retrospective on Mauritanian film director Abderrahmane Sissako’s masterpieces. The Mauritanian director will be present to give a master class on “The impact of African cinema on its culture”. The festival will also provide master classes and workshops (in Collaboration with Maisha Film Lab, a Screenwriting Workshop will be conducted) for Inspiring Filmmakers.
