Saraiki Students Council Ibadat international university islamabad strongly condemns the brutal and unlawful arrest of Chairman Saraiki Students Council QAU, Adnan Jatoi, along with members of the Quaid-i-Azam Students Federation (QSF) and general body students. We stand in complete solidarity with our Saraiki brothers and all students at QAU facing repression.

Last night, under the cover of darkness, Islamabad Police — with the backing of the QAU administration — stormed the campus and violently arrested peaceful, unarmed students whose only “crime” was demanding justice, education, and a dignified future.

We demand the immediate release of Chairman Saraiki Students Council QAU Adnan Jatoi and all arrested students and student leaders.

This is not just an attack on individuals it is a direct assault on every student who dares to speak the truth.

Students are not criminals
They are the soul and future of this Nation

The Punjab government's 2025-26 budget is nothing short of economic warfare against Siraiki Wasaib! While our region generates massive wealth through its natural resources and agricultural production, we're being systematically starved of development funds.

The brutal budget figures tell the story of Extraction and Economic Exploitation: though we comprise 35% of Punjab's population, we received a criminal percentage of this year's Rs. 5,335 billion development budget - just pennies when we're owed Rs 436 billion through the 35% ring fencing. This isn't negligence, it's calculated economic genocide. Punjab's total education budget is 148 billion rupees—yet visible allocation is mere 55 crores for the whole of Siraiki-Wasaib, when the rightful share should be 52 billion.The rest has been looted and swallowed by the Punjab Our sick die in understaffed hospitals while Punjab's elite enjoy best healthcare. Out of the health care development budget of Rs.181 billion, only 1950.4 million visible allocations for health care development in Siraiki asaib. Our farmers of Siraiki Wasaib suffered losses around 300 billion in last wheat season alone. The so-called "South Punjab" secretariat has been reduced to an empty shell, with even the bare minimum 35% ring-fenced funding stolen and hidden in shady budget lines. We're done begging for scraps from Lahore's table. The only solution is complete separation - an independent Siraiki province with our rightful Rs 1,500 billion NFC share and full control over our resources.

پانی ہمارا حق ہے — واسب، روہی، چولستان پیاسے کیوں؟

وادیِ روہی، چولستان اور ڈیرہ غازی خان کا علاقہ، جہاں زمین سونا اُگلنے کی صلاحیت رکھتی ہے، آج پانی کی ایک ایک بوند کو ترس رہا ہے۔ واسب کے باسی صدیوں سے اس دھرتی سے جُڑے ہیں، لیکن آج وہ اپنے بنیادی حق، پانی سے محروم ہیں۔

نہریں خشک، ٹیوب ویل بند، بارش کا انتظار لاحاصل۔ حکومتیں آئیں، وعدے کیے، تصویریں بنائیں اور چلی گئیں۔ لیکن نہ واسب کو پانی ملا، نہ چولستان کے باسیوں کو زندگی کی سہولت۔

ہم پوچھتے ہیں:
کیا پانی پر صرف شہری علاقوں کا حق ہے؟
کیا چولستانی انسان نہیں؟
کیا روہی کی مائیں اپنے بچوں کو پیاسا دیکھتی رہیں گی؟

آج وقت ہے آواز بلند کرنے کا۔
یہ صرف پانی کا نہیں، زندگی کے حق کا سوال ہے۔
ہم خاموش نہیں رہیں گے۔ واسب بولے گا، روہی گونجے گی، چولستان جاگے گا۔

پانی ہمارا حق ہے — ہمیں دیا جائے!
