Dear fellow SoSHSA students,

I humbly bring to your attention that I have presented myself as a candidate for the position of Sports Minister.

This decision is not driven by pride, but by a genuine desire to serve, to contribute, and to help improve sports for all of us. I understand that leadership is a responsibility, and I am ready to listen, learn, and work together with you.

Over time, I have committed myself to sports in different capacities, and I now seek the opportunity to do more, through your trust and support.

I kindly ask for your prayers, your encouragement, and most importantly, your vote.

Together with Team Panacea, we aim to build a more inclusive, active, and progressive sporting environment for every student.

DECLARATION OF INTENT
Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

I am Seedy Touray, a fourth-year colleague in our academic community majoring in Development Studies. Today, I wish to identify myself as a man of sports, who has watched and contributed to the success of sports in SoSHSA and across our nation, and that is why, with so much expertise to share, I write with utmost sincerity to declare my intention to vie for the position of Sports Minister ahead of the forthcoming SoSHSA Election under the banner of Team Panacea.

My ambition to vie for the position of Sports is fueled by my relentless desire to unite people and build sportsmanship. As someone who is currently serving as the Team Technician for SoSHSA football team and a current member of the Sport Committee, I have the utmost ability to understand and appreciate the vitality of sports in building an inclusive community. Beyond my service in SoSHSA, I served as the Secretary General of the Sukuta Youth Football Committee and a media personnel for the Sukuta Newtown Football Academy. Over the years, I have built an excellent career in sports and I believe that when allowed to serve, I will deliver to the expectations.

Therefore, I encourage all my fellow students to rally behind my team and me to continue serving the interests of the students and strive towards excellence.

BUBACARR BALDEH THE HEART AND SOUL OF YOUTH EMPOWERMENT.

Nema United - Sukuta became the undisputed champions of Sukuta Sports Committee Nawettan 2025 League Cup without losing a single game.

One man root to the success of the team is Bubacarr Baldeh known as Zee Roberto the man who puts his heart and soul to see young players and coaches succeed.

He has more than two decades of relentless services to his community through football.

We sending our sincere appreciation for his impact on football development in Sukuta.

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
We are saddened to inform you that Malcom wife’s family house was severely affected by a fire, leaving the family with significant losses. Household items, furniture, and basic necessities were destroyed, and the family is currently struggling to recover from this sudden tragedy.

In light of this, we are humbly seeking help and support from the public, especially our brothers and sisters from Road to Firdaws and all people of goodwill. Any form of assistance financial support, building materials, household items, or du‘a will go a long way in helping the family rebuild their lives.

Allah (SWT) says:

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim)

*Musa Tarick Shines in Jordan U19 League with Al Wehdat SC*

Gambian rising star Musa Bojang continues his impressive development abroad, turning heads in the Jordan U19 League with Al Wehdat SC.

In just 15 appearances this season, the prolific young attacker has netted 15 goals and provided 12 assists, a remarkable return for the young Gambian.

His outstanding form has been crucial in keeping Al Wehdat SC at the top of the table, now just one point away from clinching the U19 championship title with two games left to play.
