โDear Friends๐ค๐ซถ๐
โThe Day of Arafah is among the greatest days Allah ๏ทป has blessed the Ummah with. A day when mercy descends abundantly, sins are forgiven generously, and hearts are given an opportunity to return to their Lord in sincerity and hope.
โThe Prophet ๏ทบ said:
โโThe best duโa is the duโa of the Day of Arafah.โ (Tirmidhi)
โSo this day should not pass lightly or in distraction. It is a day meant for turning fully to Allah, with humility, brokenness, and deep sincerity.
โLet the heart remember that no sin is too great when forgiveness is sought from Al-Ghafoor, Ar-Raheem. Allah ๏ทป says:
โโDo not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.โ (Qurโan โฆโช39:53โฌโฉ)
โThis is a day where tears in private become a means of elevation, and sincere repentance becomes a cause for renewal. The servant is encouraged to come before Allah without delay, without arrogance, and without hopelessnessโonly with neediness and truthfulness.
โThe best remembrance on this day, as taught by the Prophet ๏ทบ, is:
โโLa ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu la sharika lahโฆโ
โA statement that purifies the heart and reaffirms absolute reliance upon Allah alone.
โDuas should be expanded without restriction. Every need of the heart and every concern of life may be placed before Allahโguidance, forgiveness, provision, healing, peace, and steadfastness upon the deen. Nothing is too small for Him, and nothing is too great.
โThis day is also a reminder that Allah ๏ทป frees many of His servants from the Fire more than on any other day (Sahih Muslim). Hope in His mercy should therefore outweigh fear of oneโs shortcomings.
โTime on this day should be guarded carefully. It is not a day for heedlessness, argument, or distraction, but for dhikr, Quran, salawat, and sincere supplication.
โMay Allah ๏ทป accept the duโas of this blessed day, purify the hearts of His servants, forgive past and future sins, and grant steadfastness upon guidance until the final meeting with Him.
